We've provided a few hotel options below, our venue is very central to downtown Monterey so there are several options just a short walk to The Barns at Cooper Molera.
Monterey Marriott
350 Calle Principal, Monterey, CA 93940
This is where the bride and groom will be staying and also where our room block is. A 5-minute walk from the venue, we recommend that guests utilize hotel parking.
Portola Hotel & Spa At Monterey Bay
Two Portola Plaza, Monterey, CA 93940
Portola Hotel is an upscale hotel in the Monterey area, this is also a 5-minute walk from the venue. We recommend that guests utilize hotel parking.
Monterey (MRY)
This is the best airport if flights are available from your location. Just a 5-minute Uber from the venue, but flight options may be more limited. For folks who do not want to rent a car, this is your best option. That being said, we highly recommend renting a car (ideally a convertible) to explore the beautiful Monterey / Carmel / Big Sur area down Highway 1 and making an extended weekend trip out of it!
San Jose (SJC)
We recommend this airport as it's a 1.5 hour to 2 hour drive from SJC to Monterey, easy car rental access, and has many flight options.
San Francisco (SFO)
Largest airport with the most flight options. 2+ hour drive and easy car rental access.
Car Rental
Rent a car when coming from SFO / SJC. You'll love exploring the Monterey / Carmel / Big Sur area, the drive down Highway 1 is legendary. Check out our FAQ tab to learn more!
Taxi
Uber / Lyft is available in downtown Monterey.
Parking
Street parking is challenging to find in downtown Monterey during the weekend. Parking is not provided at the venue, so leave your car at our recommended hotels which are a convenient 5-minute walk away!
On the wedding day:
For those who are not staying at a hotel, please utilize one of our recommended parking garages for the wedding day rather than attempting to find street parking.
For the welcome party
A good option is to park at Cannery Row Public Parking Garage, or take a short walk to the venue from downtown!
We recommended staying overnight and utilizing your hotel's parking. However, if you're only able to make it for the day you can find parking garages near our venue here.
