Can I bring my children?
Kids are welcome at our welcome party and the reception!
However, we ask that our ceremony be a distraction-free environment, so please remove your young children from the ceremony and re-join us for the reception!
What is the dress code?
Your best cocktail attire! The venue is indoor/outdoor so bring a jacket in case of cooler temps at night, we will have outdoor heaters to keep everyone comfy as well.
Our Friday Welcome Party is Casual, wear what you're comfortable in.
Is transportation provided?
Nope, the venue is just a short walking distance from our recommended hotels! Or you can take Uber / Lyft.
If you're not staying in downtown Monterey and/or driving, please utilize one of our recommended parking garages rather than attempting to find street parking (not going to happen in downtown Monterey).
For our Welcome Party at Wave Street Studios, you can take a short stroll along the Monterey Peninsula Recreational Trail (and see beautiful views of the ocean along the way) or Uber/Lyft to the event. If you want to park nearby our welcome party event venue, a close garage is the Cannery Row Public Parking Garage.
How can I select meal options?
The Barns specializes in elevated buffet-style dinners, so there will be plenty of options to choose from. Please indicate any dietary restrictions / food allergies in your RSVP form.

This is a must-see natural reserve when in the area, we love exploring the hiking trails here. Pro-tip! Parking requires an advance reservation, but it's easy to park along the road by the entrance and walk in for free!
Lovers Point Park

We always go for a walk here when visiting! You can get there from downtown via the Monterey-Peninsula Recreation Trail. You're guaranteed to catch a glimpse of some sea otters!
Monterey Bay Aquarium

Fun for both kids and adults! This aquarium is world-renowned.
17 Mile Drive and Carmel-by-the-Sea
See the amazing coastal views that the Carmel coast has to offer, then explore the cute downtown of Carmel! We love to grab a coffee and Carmel Coffee House and walk down to Carmel Sunset Beach.
